Albrecht Dürer (* 21. May 1471 in Nürnberg (Nuernberg, english Nuremberg) - † 06. April 1528 Nürnberg)
German painter and graphic artist with workshop in Nuremberg.
The following painters are considered Dürer's employees: Hans Baldung, called "Grien", Barthel Beham, Sebald Beham, Georg Pencz, Hans Schäufelin, Hans Springinklee and Hans Süß von Kulmbach.
