Hans Süß (Suess) from Kulmbach

Hans Süß from Kulmbach - also called Hans of Kulmbach (* about 1480 in Kulmbach - † about 1522 in Nuremberg (german: Nürnberg = Nuernberg)

 

German painter, draughtsman and graphic artist. He was a pupil of Jacopo de Barbari and Dürer's assistant. He later had his own workshop in Nuremberg.
